Book Creator lets users become published authors by creating ebooks. Text, images, video, music and narration can be added to tell the whole story. Video and music can be imported, and speech can be recorded within the application.

The books can be sent to others via email, a WebDav server, or to web-based applications, such as iBooks Store, Google Play Books, iTunes, and Dropbox. Pages can be posted from the book to Facebook and Twitter. Print is also possible using AirPrint or other printer apps, or export as PDF. With the books created using the international ePub standard, the books will be readable now and in the future.

For schools, a full version with unlimited books and no in-app purchase is available. Teachers and students can edit and annotate each other’s books and with the “combine books” feature students can collaborate on a single book across tablets, classes and even countries.

Book Creator Free allows the creation of one book for free. The free version is great for trying out Book Creator before purchasing it. The paid version Book Creator for iPad allows the creation of limitless books and there is no in-app purchase. This version is ideal for educational use.
